Why you’ll love staying

  • The island feels like yours. Before about 9:30am and after about 4pm, Green Island belongs to resort guests.
  • Slow mornings on the reef. Grab your snorkel and head out before the first day visitors arrive.
  • Sunset drinks on the house. It’s a lovely way to settle into island time.
  • A beach stroll in the moonlight. After dinner, wander along the sand with the reef all around you and the crowds long gone. It’s a small island with a gentle, easy feel.

A romantic dinner on the beach

Make the evening one to remember with a private dinner on the sand, just the two of you. It depends on the weather, so ask the resort about availability and price when you book.

Or dinner at Emeralds

Emeralds is the resort’s signature restaurant, with a chef’s menu built around fresh, seasonal local produce. It’s also open for breakfast and lunch.

Travel Kindly

At Hot Getaways, care is our compass — and a little kindness makes every journey better. When you visit Green Island, we gently ask you to:

  • Protect the reef — wear reef-safe sunscreen and never touch or stand on the coral.
  • Respect the wildlife — admire the turtles, seabirds and marine life from a distance, and take your rubbish home with you.
  • Support local — choosing local operators, cafés and guides helps this beautiful place thrive.
  • Honour Country — we travel on the traditional lands and sea Country of Australia’s First Peoples, with gratitude and respect to the Traditional Custodians past and present.
  • Be kind to each other — a smile, a little patience and a helping hand make the day lovelier for everyone.

Small acts of care add up to something wonderful. Thank you for travelling kindly.
